Doubling the performance potential of its G35 family, Infiniti added a new coupe variant to complement the existing sedan. Sharing the same great handling rear drive platform with standard stability control, ABS disc brakes, and 17-in wheels/tires, the styling and equally well appointed 2+2 went one step beyond in the powertrain department. While both G35s had a potent 3.5L DOHC V6 underhood, the coupe’s made 280 horses, 20 more than the sedan’s. The new two-door also offered a six speed manual gear box in addition to the five speed shift-able automatic that was still mandatory in the four door.
