“Honey, I shrunk the Navigator” was the premise for the all new 2003 Lincoln Aviator. Riding on the Ford Explorer/Mercury Mountaineer platform, the Aviator was offered in Luxury and Premium models with RWD or AWD. A standard 4.6L V8 pumped out 302 hp and 300 bl-ft of torque. The seven passenger interior was fitted with dual zone climate control, side airbags, power adjustable pedals, and wood and satin nickel trim. Premium models add HID headlamps, heated and cooled seats, and a six disc CD changer. Options included a navigation system, AdvanceTrac vehicle stability, and a tire pressure monitor.
