As the adage goes, “if you’re late to the party, bring the best gifts.” Cadillacs first crossover SUV shared its Sigma platform with the sporty CTS sedan. The SRX was equipped with a next-generation 4.6-liter/320-horsepower Northstar V8 or a new 3.6-liter/260-horsepower V6. Rear and all-wheel-drive models had a five speed manumatic transmission, StabiliTrak, and traction control. Magnetic Ride Control was optional. The swanky interior offered room for seven with an available power folding third row seat. Buyers could opt for a navigation system, extra-large sunroof, XM Satellite Radio, and rear entertainment system.
