2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor Test Drive

Introduced in mid-2003, the Endeavor was Mitsubishi’s entry into the midsize car-based SUV segment, against Toyota’s highlander and Honda’s Pilot. The Endeavor packed a 3.8-liter V6 backed by a four speed automatic and a choice of front or all wheel drive. Trim levels were LS, XLS, and LTD. Alloy wheels, C/C, keyless entry, and cruise control were standard on all, the XLS adding ABS with electronic brake-force distribution, compass/temperature mirror, upgraded audio, and cabin LCD display. The LTD topped it out with tire pressure monitoring, automatic temp control, leather and more, all standard.
