Nissan may have been a new player in the full-size pickup segment, but it intended to win over buyers with the TItan King Cab and Crew Cab models. A newly designed 5.6-liter V8 produced a healthy 305 horsepower and 379 lb-ft of torque. Power was delivered through a five-speed automatic transmission, mated to either two or four wheel drive. Nissan claimed the interior had more space than in any other crew cab in the half-ton pickup segment. The bed was available with a spray on bed liner and unique bed channel tie down system as well as an integrated lockable bedside storage compartment.
