The mid size Lexus GS300 was suffering from an identity crisis. It didn’t look like its siblings, or have any unique or outstanding features to justify its steep price tag. All that changed in 1998 when Lexus introduced the new GS. based heavily on the HPS concept car, the new model adopted all new styling inside and out, along with a number of technological firsts for a Lexus nameplate.
