1984: Ford’s Aero Van

The sleek, aerodynamic Aerostar concept vehicle was a sneak preview of Ford’s new minivan for the 1986 model year. Ford touted a predicted 40 MPG, highway. Production vans slightly resembled the concept somewhat, but not the fuel mileage!
