2001 Audi S4 Avant and S8 Test Drive
The sporty S4 continued unchanged, though stability control was made standard. And in late 2000, the S4 Avant was made available, powered by a 250 bhp twin turbo V6 that drove all four wheels. The A8’s 4.2 liter V8 now met LEV emissions standard, and all A8s came with standard stability control.
