1990: Buick rocks down to Electra Avenue
In 1991, Buick redesigned its flagship full-size front drive sedan, giving it rounder, more flowing lines, front quarter-windows, a large chromed grille, wraparound bumpers, and a sloping backlight that smoothed the transition between roof the roof and trunk. Mechanicals were not expected to change from the 1985-1990 version. The artistic rendition shown was not far off from the actual production model, with the exception of the length of the trunk, and lack of wrap-around front lighting.
