11982 Ford Granada vs Chevrolet Celebrity Promo
The intermediate Granada line added the station wagon that Futura lost in L, and GL trim levels, and otherwise was carried over for 1982 in 2- and 4-door sedans, in L, GL and GLX trim levels. The 2.3 four was standard, with 4-speed manual transmission, options included the 3.3 liter inline six with regular or lockup converter automatic, and an all new 3.8 liter V6 engine with lock up automatic only. The new 3.8 V6 was nearly as light as the 2.3 four, with about 115 available hp, obviating the necessity for a V8 engine option in 1982 Granadas.
