1988 Mitsubishi Precis Test Drive

This econobox, based on a Mitsubishi chassis and components, was built by Hyundai, the Korean industrial conglomerate.  Conventional in design and manufacture, the care was commercially acceptable.  It lacked the refinement of a smooth ride and quiet, effortless performance of contemporary Japanese economy cars.  It also lacked the higher price. A good set of wheels, if you didn’t pay or expect too much.
