1994 Toyota Previa Supercharged Test Drive

Many people were drawn to the ovoid Previa because of its unique styling. Others appreciated its roomy and comfortable inner sanctum, with seating for seven, plus cargo. Designed for maxim interior space, Previa used a 2.4-loiter inline-4 engine located under the front seats; rear drive was standard, and all-wheel drive was optional. With only 138 horsepower and no V-6 in the lineup, a fully loaded Previa wouldn’t perform as well as some of its competition (0-60 mph in 12.4 seconds, unladen). If towing was not your main goal, however, this minivan was a mxi-pleaser.
