Oldsmobile added the front-wheel-drive 1982 Cutlass Ciera to its line as its version of GM’s new A-body family. It accompanied, rather than replaced, the rear-wheel-drive Cutlass Supreme, which outsold it 281,451 to 101,320. The Brougham four-door could be had for $9599. Also available was the 85-bhp 4.3-liter V-6 diesel, for both front and rear drive versions of the Cutlass.
