2005 Scion tC Test Drive

The third model in the Scion family was a sport coupe designed specifically as a Scion rather than adapted from an existing Japanese-market model. The tC was powered by a 2.4-liter four cylinder engine from the Camry. It also had more standard equipment, such as a power moonroof and reclining rear seats. On the safety front, a driver knee airbag was standard, and front side and head-curtain airbags were optional. More than 40 youth-oriented accessories were offered by Scion dealers, including a TRD supercharger kit that raised output to over 200 horsepower.
