1971 Ford Torino Cobra Test Drive
The Torino Cobra hardtop continued as Ford’s no-nonsense muscle car. It featured a distinctive concave back window and came equipped with a 285-bhp, 351cid V8 engine, Hurst shifted four-speed transmission and a heavy duty suspension. It was qite a package for $3295, but only 3054 were built this year, another sign of the waning market for hot cars.
