101990 Nissan Stanza Road Test
The Stanza is without a doubt the most austere Japanese compact on the market, when compared to the Honda Accord, or the Mazda 626. This four or five door sedan has three trim levels: DLX, XE, and the luxury GXE which is very close perhaps too close to the Maxima. It is a very up to date vehicle with four wheel independent suspension, but its 0.36 coefficient of drag is conservative in spite of the recent styling changes. The Stanza is a compact with some very fine qualities, the only problem is it goes by completely unnoticed.
My car MAN I LOVE this car! Thanks for uploading Baja you’re the man!

glad you like it! Only 52k? wow collectable!
Oh and the seat DOES fold 60/40 on mine…
Funny how what was considered dated styling at the time now looks so refreshing after 20 years.
Yeah, very colectable 😉

Had one of these purchased new for ’10k on 1990. Happily cruised round trip from Phoenix to Tucson and had no problem keeping up with highway traffic. The 5 speed of course. Car was totally reliable, but traded it in ’92 for a faster and sexier black Altima SE at twice the price. In hindsight, the Stanza was a keeper.
Clean lines, looked good in silver. Very underrated.
