Background: This class 2 mini-compact was launched at the Tokyo Auto Show in 1983 and got a 1.2 liter engine in 1986. The Justy ECVT was introduced in Japan in February 1987. It was made at the Gunma factory. It was exported to Canada in 1986, and the US in 1987. 13,240 Subaru Justy’s were sold in 1987.
