Very seldom has a car like the Q45 been marketed so poorly. First of all, by its name which doesn’t mean anything, then by the advertising campaign that did not even show it, and by its anonymous front grill decorated with a Texas ranger buckle.

Three years after its launching, the Q45 finally got some touch ups to correct the deficiencies it had sine the beginning. The new for 1994 Jaguar-esque grill gave it identity. Lexus played the emblem game by emulating Mercedes, while Infiniti remained anonymous, with results we now know.
