1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Commercials
Oldsmobile’s mid-size Cutlass had become one of America’s best-selling lines by 1977, the last year for the 1973 vintage Colonnade styling. By itself, the handsome $4670 Supreme coupe garnered 242,874 sales, the posher $4949 Supreme Brougham another 124,712. A cutlass Supreme was the millionth 1977 Oldsmobile built. Allegedly mid-sized, a Cutlass Supreme coupe now weighted more than a two-door Delta 88, and dearly as much as a Ninety-Eight, more than likely, due to those models being downsized this year. A 110-bhp 260 V8 was standard, with a 170bhp 350 and 185bhp 403 optional.
