1957 Lincoln Premier Tire Test
The 1957 Lincolns were 1956’s with big canted fins and stacked-quad headlights tacked on. Lincoln belatedly added hardtop sedans for 1957, the uplevel Premiere Landau listed for $5294 and attracted 11,223 orders. The Premiere hardtop coupe cost 45149 and sold 15,185 copiers. The new ’57 fins were huge but fairly tasteful. The footage presented appears to be some sort of tire track test to analyse their performance. Since there is no sound, it’s hard to decipher any particulars.
