1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible Test Drive
This was the biggest front wheel drive car in the world and received big play in the media for being the “last” Cadillac convertible, at least until rag-tops were revived in the early eighties. A total of 14,000 were made. The final 200 had special all white paint with red and blue “bicentennial” accents. They were touted as a good investment and sold at over sticker prices. Both the high cost and the “last rag-top” claim proved unwarranted.
