1982 Pontiac 1000 Test Drive
As before, Pontiac’s Chevette clone the 1000 came in three and five door hatchback forms. A new sport package included a black spoiler, sport striping, black sport mirrors, special handling components, and a formula steering wheel. The base 1000 engine was the 1.6 liter overhead cam four with four speed manual gearbox.
