1983 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Commercial

A brand new third generation Chevrolet Camaro was one of 1982’s biggest introductions. Though a bit smaller and ligher than the second series design, it was more practical thanks to a lift up glass hatch. Models were the familiar trio of base, luxury Berlinetta and the performance oriented Z28 with up to 165HP available in a 305cid V8. For 1983 little changed, including each models distinct identities, for any level of sporty car enthusiast. According to the presenter the base model possessed plenty of excitement, but I fail to see much if any, unless your idea of excitement are wheel covers and a Canada exclusive quartz clock mounted below the shift lever.

Move up to the top model Z28 ,the performance Camaro, and you got Motor Trends Car of the year, 12 months prior, as well as the Indianapolis 500 Pace car representative, with its subtle wedge shape and bold graphics this car clearly more than an appearance package. Whatever flavor Camaro you chose, it was sure to set you apart from the competition.
