this was one of the cars that eventually killed off the brand. throughout the 80’s cars from mecury were obvious re badges of their ford cousins. the practice continued right up until its death. its a shame that mecury never really got its chance to shine after the 70’s were over.
it is unfortunate, as they had some very impressive concept/prototype cars that, if produced, would have been quite nice!
