1989 Ford Probe GT vs Nissan 240SX vs Plymouth Laser Comparison Test

Newly introduced by Nissan, for 1989, the 240SX had two versions, a volume coupe, and well balanced hatchback.  Both possessing soft clean lines. The big 4-cylinder was not a road burner, but it died allow very pleasant driving and comfort.  Rear wheel drive, typical of a traditional sports car, encouraged fun driving.
The Probe GT had considerably more personality than its base model, and the turbo really made it fly.  It had more equipment and added comfort, especially in the rear, which was quite large although it did lack height. It was however a heavy car and like its sister, the front end had difficulty in handling available power.
