Nick Zeniuk ad Glen Lyall developed the 1990 Lincoln Town Car in record time of 41 months, cutting nearly a year off the regular design cycle. It incorporated traditional American luxury car traits (large size, interior roominess and V8 power)in an updated package. The car was designed to emphasize an image that Cadillac had moved away from. “now, more than ever, what a luxury car should be,” claimed an ad for the $27,000 model.
