The Cavalier’s success rested on a few very simple, basic ideas: attractive content, good looks, practical size and convincing prices.So no wonder it was the best sold car in Canada in 1997. In the US, it arrived in 9th place with 302,161 units sold right behind the Honda Civic. The 1999 Cavalier wasn’t modified much which didn’t affect its appeal.
