2002 Lincoln Blackwood Test Drive
Appropriately, for something from a division of Ford Motor Company, Lincoln’s fancy out of place Blackwood pickup came in any color you wanted – so long as it was black.
Inappropriately, the “wood” half of the name no longer applied. Ford used photo laminated plastic panels in place of the concept’s exotic wood paneling on the side of the bed. The faux wood was in response to concerns about accident repair costs, durability problems, and maintenance headaches.
