1979 Dodge Ramcharger Manufacturer Promo
Ramcharger sports utility trucks got new front end appearance with grilles, cowls, hoods and headlight treatments (both round and dual rectangular headlights were available, depending on model selected). Ramchargers benefited from all of the other line improvements of the pickup truck line in terms of base equipment, except for the diesel engine option. The 106-inch-wheelbase
Ramcharger was available in base and SE trim levels in 2- and 4-wheel drive, and the 225cid 6-cylinder engine was base for 2-wheel drives, with the 318cid and 360cid V8 engines optional. On all 4-wheel drive Ramchargers, the 318 V-8 was standard. A sound-insulation package was added to the SE version and was optional on base units. The bucket seat Ramchargers added electric door locks and several tape stripe decor packages to the existing option list.
