Chrysler showed more budget conscious product savvy with the 1982 Dodge Rampage, a front drive L-Body coupe stretched into a neat half ton pickup. The Rampage 2.2 was the peppiest of the Dodges, yet very affordable at $7255. Unfortunately, sales ailed to reach 30,000 through 1984, so the idea had to be dropped.
