1985 Lincoln Continental Mark VII Manufacturer Promo
Lincoln’s Continental and Continental Mark VII V8 models were noteworthy for the addition of a new antilock braking system, which was standard equipment on various V8 designer editions of Continental and Mark VII, and standard equipment on all V8s sold in the five Pacific Western states (California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii). The LSC line was also enhanced by the addition of a new power option in the form of an H.O. 5.0 V8. The Continental range offered the option of a new and surprisingly acceptable 2.3-liter turbodiesel, imported from BMW. Production of the Lincoln Mark VII dropped by half for 1985, settling at 18,355.
