1985 Mercury Topaz Manufacturer Promo
Things got a little interesting with the Topaz, with the addition of a High Output version of the pushrod EFI 2.3-liter HSC (High Swirl Combustion) 4-cylinder and a slightly more sporting wheel/tire and suspension package to go with it. Mercury did some interior sprucing up, as well.

I hated this car so much that I took time to leave this comment. Nothing felt better than when I punched the windshield out of frustration on my 86 Topaz. Total POS.
