1986 Isuzu I-Mark Test Drive
Isuzu’s I-Mark, a Japanese Chevette, was replaced with the same Spectrum supplied to Chevrolet. At Isuzu dealers, it was called I-Mark, and came as a three-door hatchback or four-door sedan. The only engine was a 1.5-liter four, no more Isuzu diesels. The Spectrum/I-Mark gave Isuzu an up-to-date economy car that was more than competitive with the Tercel, GLC and similar cars.
