1987: Four Seat Fiero
GM sources said the 2nd Gen Fiero would have “more behind the seat luggage room”, but this is just silly. GM played with a four seater Fiero as a way to evaluate a concept of more than two seats. Sort of like Chrysler extending the min-van (???). Definitely not a production mule, and not a 4-door Fiero, GM insisted, just the outgrowth of a bunch of guys sitting around brainstorming.
