1987 Peugeot 505 STX V6 Test Drive

For 1987 you saw more power from the Turbo 505 sedan, an 8-passenger version of the wagon (all seats faced forward), and a new 505 GLX sedan.  Turbo muscle got an increase in horsepower to 180 (from 150), accomplished primarily by changes in the wastegate that increased boost.  The value leader 505 GLX used Peugeot’s familiar 145-horsepower, 2.8-liter V6 engine, and the price around $20,000.
