Caught by an alert photographer was this interesting Bronco II engineering mule, clearly showing the hardtop replaced with a soft top. A Ford source professed surprise when the project was described to him, suggesting it was “someone’s” toy, claiming nothing was known about it.  Perhaps he was telling the truth.
