1988 Chevrolet Cavalier Manufacturer Promo
The 1988 Coupe and convertible received all new sheet metal and aero styling, with the coupe now resembling a baby Beretta. Performance variants included a Z24 Coupe and convertible, powered by the 125 horsepower, Port injected 2.8 liter V6, with 5-speed GM getrag gearbox, FE2 sport suspension and Goodyear Eagle GT+4 radials on alloy wheels. Not surprisingly, ride and handling were changed little from previous years, this version just plain looked more and more contemporary then it’s cut and folded predecessor.
