1988: Saturn Comes Into Focus
Three years after the brands announcement and two years before job one, this rendering with artfully deleted camouflaging, closely resembled what eventually rolled off the line as the 1991 Saturn sedan. 
Styling details of the C-pillar, taillights, rear-end panel and doors were now more distinguishable though not exact. Plans still called for this 1.9-liter inline-4, fwd, drop-snout 4-door sedan to be the centerpiece of a sixth GM car division. Now, what do you think of the concealed headlights?
