Now in its ninth year, Aries was drum-tight and more pleasing to drive than ever. The K-car served well; under its skin persisted the basic ideas of good mileage, lots of living room and solid value at a bargain basement price. Aries America was for the first-time buyer and the family that just began or someone who hated cars altogether. Aries was simpler for 1989, with fewer levels of trim available at the same low price.
