The 1994 GEO Storm could have been one of the first production cars in the United States to showcase the “cab forward” look. Even more aerodynamic in appearance that its slippery predecessor, the new Storm was to continue to share mechanicals with the Isuzu Impulse and the Lotus Elan, with greater styling differentiation from the Impulse than initially. The top of the line GSi edition could have sported a turbocharged twin-cam engine, four wheel drive, and four wheel steering. But the second generation Storm, turned out to be just fog.
There was a 2nd gen Storm brewing but it was going to be from a new manufacturer. I read an article on it years ago and now I can’t find anything on it. It was either some sort of Suzuki sports car or a rebadged Opel Tigra but my memory fails me now.
