By 1993 if there was any criticism of the contemporary Nissan Maxima, it was that the spirited sedan looks needed some updating. For 1994, Nissan was taking care of that complaint, softening up the car’s lines and giving it the Altima/Infiniti J30 treatment, courtesy of NDI, the company’s design studio in California.
