1993 Mercedes-Benz 600SEC V12 Test Drive
The S-Class boasted seven models in its line, with the turbo diesel 300SD on the bottom end, and the autobahn-champion 600SEC coupe and SEL sedan reigning supreme. In the middle were the 300SE inline-six powered sedan, 400SEL, and 500SEL long wheel base V-8 sedans, and the 500SEC V-8 sport coupe. All 600-series models boasted the jet-turbine power of an alloy V-12, with 389 horsepower at your beck and call. All got dual airbags.
