1993 Mercedes Benz 600SL Test Drive
You already knew the Mercedes 300 or 500SL was a car you’d sell a family member to own. So, how many would you have given up to get the new 1993 V-12 powered 600SL? Each of the three felt as if they were carved out of a single block of billet aluminum, and really only differed in engine size and price. With a V-12 under its hood, the 600SL was Germany’s high-tech luxo version of the Viper, going 0-60 mph in less than 6.0 seconds.
