Chrysler wanted you to be prepared to have your socks knocked off by the new Concorde. The grille returned in a big way, and the Concorde wore a wide smile that paid homage to classic Ason Martins and Ferraris. It was balanced by the elegant sweep of Chrysler’s signature cab-forward architecture. Inside, the front-drive Concorde gained even more passenger and cargo room, and the new interior paid attention to noise isolation and intuitive functionality. Two new V-6 engines were on the roster: The base offering was a 2.7-liter/200-horsepower V-6, and the upgrade was a 3.2-liter/220-horsepower unit. Both enjoyed significant advances in fuel efficiency, as well as power production. The Concorde was available in LX and LXi trim levels.
