1998 Honda Accord Test Drive
Meet the sixth-generation Honda Accord, the most changed single model in the car’s history. Inside the Accord’s new sheet-metal you found an enlarged interior that ranked the sedan version as a true midsize and the distinctively styled coupe was also quite roomy. There were improvements to structure, safety, suspension, pretty much the whole car. Three different engines supplied the go power. The DX models got a 2.3-liter/135-horsepower inline four, while standard LX and EX model got a redesigned 2.3-liter/150-horse inline four that’s smoother, quieter, and stronger. The top option for LX and EX models was an all-new, exceptionally smooth 3.0-liter/200-horse V-6.
