11998 Toyota Sienna Test Drive
The minivan market was bracing for a collision. Toyota’s replacement for the defunct Previa approached at full speed and was destined to rip off a piece of the action much larger than its expensive rear drive predecessor. Toyota called this “the Camry of minivans” for good reason; the North American built Sienna was based on the Camry. The capacious interior Incorporated plenty of useful features and even more cup holders than anything Chrysler built. Options included a left side sliding door and hands free power operation of the right side. So was a huge drop in price relative to the previous previa.
