1999 Saab 9-5 Test Drive

For the first time since it appeared for the 1986 model year, the Saab 9000 finally got a complete replacement.  Even the name was changed to the 9-5 (nine five). The new model went on sale in the spring of 1998 as a 1999 model.  At first, it was only available as a four-door sedan, joined by a station wagon  later.
