2000 BMW Z8 Test Drive
Making its debut in “The World is not Enough” 007 flick, James bond drove a limited production BMW Z8. Taking styling cues from the classic 507 Roadster, the Z8 rode on an all new platform, sharing its engine and manual transmission with the new and highly lustworty M5 sedan. That meant a 5.0 liter 400hp V8 ready to uncork 0-60 mph acceleration in the high 4 second range. Retro styling accented the luxurious interior, and the top was power operated. It was well worth the $125k.
