2000 Hundai Tiburon Test Drive

Affordably sporty, Hyundai’s Tiburon gave you a good amount of bang for your buck.  A redesigned exterior for model year 2000 gave the coupe a new look with a multi-headlight fascia and a smoother, more rounded rear end.  Minor mechanical changes left the 2.0-liter/140-horsepower inline four mostly as is, so you would still hit 60 mph in a reasonable 7.6 seconds.  Available in two trim levels, Tiburon and Tiburon FX, (which included power door locks, six way adjustable driver seat, and alloy wheels), this fun little car was a strong competitor in the affordable sport coupe market.
