Redesigned in 2000, the Tahoe was available as a 4-door with 2-or 4-wheel drive. Both versions had three trim levels: the base Tahoe (featured here), the mid level LS and the upscale LT. Swing out cargo doors were standard, but an optional one piece lift-gate had an independent lift glass for quick access to small items. Tahoe offered practicality, functionality and plenty of reliability for the money, with options, or none.
